Elemental

You were born through the workings of great and ancient magic. Elementals live for thousands of years, and they never stop growing. When a spark becomes a volcano or a droplet becomes an ocean, and your body and the world can no longer be distinguished from one another, you will surrender your energy, and the two will become one. Through rituals that predate plant life, Elementals can recapture this energy and place it within a new spark, drop, pebble, or breeze. Each generation is fueled by reservoirs of energy left behind by its ancestors.

Young Elementals travel in nomadic packs, meeting and communing throughout the seasons. Whether these Elementals chase after storms, or the storms follow in their wake, is a matter of debate.

You need no material components for the spells this lineage grants.

Ignis (Fire)Glowing: You emit heat and Dim Light in a 20-foot radius at all times. You have Disadvantage on Stealth checks.Fire Resistance: You have Resistance to Fire damage.Cantrip: You know the Create Bonfire cantrip.Lineage Spells: At character level 3 you learn Burning Hands, and at character level 5, Flame Blade. Each is always prepared, and once per Long Rest you can cast it without expending a spell slot.Marid (Water)Acid Resistance: You have Resistance to Acid damage.Amphibious: You can breathe underwater and have a Swim Speed equal to your Speed.Cantrip: You know the Shape Water cantrip.Lineage Spells: At character level 3 you learn Create or Destroy Water, and at character level 5, Wither and Bloom. Each is always prepared, and once per Long Rest you can cast it without expending a spell slot.Lapis (Earth)Earth Walk: You can move across Difficult Terrain made of earth or stone without expending extra movement.Cantrip: You know the Mold Earth cantrip.Lineage Spells: At character level 3 you learn Earth Tremor, and at character level 5, Lapis Grasp.
