Paladin

Paladin
Sir GalahadGeorge Frederic Watts - 19th century

To defend the Fractal River is to defend every possible world. The church is guiding us to the best future for all living things. As with all noble causes, the wicked come in droves to stamp out hope. Your weapons and armor have been dipped in time itself and carry the golden burns of the Fractal River. This equipment slows your aging and grants you an uncanny instinct for where danger may be hiding.

Lay On Hands

Your blessed touch can heal wounds. You have a pool of healing power that replenishes when you finish a Long Rest. With that pool, you can restore a total number of Hit Points equal to five times your Paladin level — 5 Hit Points at your level.

As a Bonus Action, you can touch a creature (which could be yourself) and draw power from the pool of healing to restore a number of Hit Points to that creature, up to the maximum amount remaining in the pool.

You can also expend 5 Hit Points from the pool of healing power to remove the Poisoned condition from the creature; those points don't also restore Hit Points to the creature.

Spellcasting

Paladin spellcasting ability is Charisma. You can use a Holy Symbol as a Spellcasting Focus.

At level 1 you can have two spells prepared. If another Paladin feature gives you spells that you always have prepared, those spells don't count against this number.

Starting Spells

    Weapon Mastery

Your training with weapons allows you to use the mastery properties of two kinds of weapons of your choice with which you have proficiency. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can change the kinds of weapons you chose.

    Privacy

This site has no signup, sends no email, carries no analytics or advertising trackers, and never asks for your real name, your address, or a payment card.

If nobody has sent you a claim link, the site holds nothing about you: your character is saved in your own browser and never reaches the server.

If your DM has sent you a claim link, the server holds your display name, your characters and their save history, the dates you joined and last visited with a count of visits, and a scrambled copy of your recovery phrase. It holds them so your character follows you between devices. That is the service, and the legitimate interest it relies on. One cookie keeps you signed in; there are no others.

At the table, you can let your figure light up while you talk.It is off unless you turn it on, and your browser asks you first. Your microphone is measured for when you are speaking and never for what you are saying: the sound is examined in your own browser and never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere, and the only thing that reaches the table is “talking” or “not talking”, which nothing writes down. It stops the moment you turn it off, leave the table, or take the permission back in your browser.

Your DM can read and edit your characters. Cloudflare hosts the site and the database on servers in North America, and GitHub holds a private nightly backup, both under their standard UK transfer terms. Nothing is sold, shared, or used to train anything.

Your account is kept until your DM removes it, which deletes everything above. Backups taken before that day persist for a while in the private archive.

Your account page can export everything the server holds for you, or delete your account outright. Your sheet is yours to correct at any time.

Questions go to the DM who sent your invite link; there is no company behind this site. If you are in the UK and think your information has been mishandled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
